Gluten-Free Me / Healthy Living

Where to begin when planning your Bachelorette Weekend?! I'm going to be honest with you, getting started with planning my Bachelorette Weekend was probably one of the biggest stressors for me and my girls. One, because I didn't give us very much time to plan...getting engaged in January and planning a wedding for the end of April didn't give us many weeks to plan, and not a whole lot of weekends to choose from to get away. And the second reason Bachelorette weekend planning was such a stressor was the question "where can we go?".  And third, once we picked Sonoma, there were sooooo many options of where to stay, what to do, how we'd get there, etc. So that's why I've decided to share this blog post with you! I needed something so straight to the point to help us navigate and plan the weekend, I hope this can be that for you. Wether or not you're just…

{Photos by Madison Lauren Photography} Oh what an adventure me and 7 of of my best girlfriends had for my Bachelorette weekend. If you follow my Instagram stories, you saw that we experienced some interesting hurdles to getting to our destination for the Bachelorette weekend. (If you don't follow my Instagram stories, you can still watch the journey on my Instagram, in the highlights titled, "Bachelorette".) The journey had some twists and turns, and it made for a memorable start to the weekend. And I'm so excited to share more about our travels and festivities, but first, I wanted to share something from my heart. God has been so good to me in leading me along some interesting paths that have led me to every single one of these friendships that I have. We have each shared seasons of highs and lows, tears, laughter, joy. There have been multiple prayers shared in person, over coffee, over the phone,…

You are My Epic Love Story- Our Engagement Story!

Tenley & Taylor January 2016 I had finally found true contentment and truly handed over my worries to God about finding “the one”. It had been two years of not being in a committed relationship. I certainly didn’t love being single, I absolutely wanted more, but I finally trusted that it was going to happen and I didn’t need to try to steer the wheel anymore. So with a surrendered, trusting, and care-free heart here’s where the story begins… January 18, 2016. I received the sweetest text from a stranger I had ever received. It was sincere, confident, transparent, and kind. To get that from one simple text I think says a lot. It was Taylor. Our mutual friend, Weston had bumped into me the Friday night before telling me there was this guy in his Bible Study he thought I should meet. I said, “no thanks”. Not sure why I said no, because I don’t know how I thought…

Thanksgiving for Two – “Dates-giving!”

Thanksgiving for Two.

It's the time of the year that we reflect on all that we're thankful for, and my heart is so full. This time of year deserves a little time to slow down, reflect and share. I thought I'd share a few items from our menu from the other night and also share a few things I'm thankful for, because my heart is truly overflowing with gladness. This Guy. My Love, My Best Pal. Ohh man. Now I'm all teary eyed trying to find words to share my thankfulness for this sweet answer to prayer in my life. haha. I'm such a sap. For those of you …

But don't you worry, I have a gluten free, crisp, clean, and refreshing Spiked and Sparkling drink to share with you that will up the ante on your summer beverage game! drum roll please... Celebrating 100 Years of La Victoria

Uncategorized

Florals-first photo I was extremely honored to be invited to a perfectly beautiful evening celebrating the brand, La Victoria's 100th Anniversary! To even think of a brand having excelled for that many years while keeping the integrity and foundations that they established as a company 100 years ago is incredible. La Victoria was the pioneer of jarred salsa. In 1917, and to this day they continue to make all of their salsas and sauces with real, simple ingredients. Plus, all of their tomatoes are sourced right here in California! Being in the nutrition world, I appreciate this so much, as the ingredients are jarred at their greatest quality, just as if your Abuela/Grandma might do. insta photo La Victoria is actually a part of my personal story, so it was an additional honor to be invited to this celebration. When I first went gluten free, I was clueless of what I could even eat, and terrified by the fact that most sauces and even…
